Cassandra Yasko

I enjoy helping individuals of every age find joy, strength, and healing through movement. I believe that dance and yoga offer powerful tools for every individual, no matter where they are on their wellness journey. I am a dedicated teacher of movement; I became a certified yoga instructor more than 10 years ago and have been teaching dance for nearly 15. I bring a wealth of lived experience to my teaching style. In addition to working with teens and adults, I also love teaching little ones, they truly warm my heart. It’s a privilege to support young minds and bodies as they grow stronger and discover all they’re capable of.  

Dance was my first true passion, with yoga quickly following; both practices have played a transformative role in shaping who I am today. I found my love for dance at a young age in rural Maine, advancing my studies and flourishing my abilities while spending summers at Boston Conservatory, Alvin Ailey, ABT, and attending the Joffrey Ballet School Trainee Program. After receiving an AA in Dance Performance from Dean College, I went on to complete my BA through UMass Amherst with a dual degree in Dance & Health. While completing my BA I also became a Certified Yoga Instructor. Since then, I have deepened my expertise through continued education in Yoga Specialization, including but not limited to: Teen Yoga, Yoga for All Bodies, Prenatal Yoga, and Trauma-Sensitive Yoga.
