While the world is opening up rapidly, Prenatal Yoga classes may not be easily accessible in person just yet but it is such an important element of the pregnancy journey into parenthood.
As such, if you are interested in taking virtual privates or/and mini group sessions (you + some close friends) I would be so happy to chat with you about price options, my availability, and how I can customize each class to your specific needs. If you’d prefer a restorative yoga class rooted in meditation, great! If you want to get your body moving and do a vinyasa flow for strength building, let’s do it - the options are truly endless!
In short, I can provide a safe space for you to feel empowered during your pregnancy and hopefully support your mental/emotional balance during labor (there so many studies done based on the connection between yoga, pregnancy, and labor to learn more, view my research paper).
I’ve been a Yoga Alliance Certified instructor since completing my first 200hrs of training in 2015. Since then, I’ve consistently continued my yoga education, for a list of my qualifications, click here.

My goal is to assist you on your prenatal journey where we will focus on establishing a strong mind-body connection through movement-based meditation. I’d also like to help you access your mental sanctuary before you even need it, having this amazing tool in your back pocket to help process emotions and energy in a healthy way throughout pregnancy, labor, and parenthood.
Prenatal Yoga can support your body and well-being in the following ways:
• Improved circulation, strength, flexibility, and endurance
• Reduced discomfort (back, sciatica, shoulder aches, side body tightness, etc)
• Relieving levels of high stress and anxiety
• Preparation for labor (physically and mentally)
• Encourages overall body, mind, and spiritual awareness
All of these elements of yoga are extremely beneficial throughout this beautiful phase of pregnancy into your unique birth experience. There are endless books that discuss the benefits of Prenatal Yoga and how it correlates with prenatal wellness, positive labor experiences, and fetal health, along with scientific based research and consistent recommendations from doctors to this day.
For example, "In four studies on healthy pregnant women, significant improvement in pain and pleasure at delivery, duration of delivery, perceived stress levels during pregnancy, anxiety levels, depression, pregnancy-related experiences, quality of life, and interpersonal relationships were compared to those in the control group. In two studies on depressed pregnant women, one reported that depression, anxiety levels, anger levels, leg pain, and back pain significantly improved with yoga, while the other found no differences from the control group. In one study of high-risk pregnant women with morbidity factors such as obesity or advanced age, yoga resulted in significantly fewer cases of pregnancy-induced hypertension, gestational diabetes, and intrauterine growth restriction, as well as a decrease in perceived stress levels. In one study on pregnant women with pelvic pain, the median pain score was lower in the yoga group,” (PubMed).

This is an example of a general Prenatal Yoga class that I recorded for the Prenatal YTT Course I completed during my first trimester. Within this class, I touch on some important elements to keep in mind while practicing yoga pregnant, I help you connect with breath and baby, and get the body moving through a solid flow for increased circulation, energy, and stamina.
However, it is important to remember that every pregnancy is unique and comes with its own set of challenges, discomforts, and concerns. For these reasons, I feel it is more beneficial to offer private/group private sessions as that setting allows me to focus on specific individual needs of each pregnancy journey. Furthermore, each trimester brings a set of new emotions, hormonal changes, anxiety, and internal dialog, supporting the need for personalized yoga sessions even more.

As always, check with your health care professional/OB prior to participating in any physical activity. Each pregnancy is unique, certain elements of these videos may not be safe depending on the current state of your pregnancy. Listen to your body and consult with your own doctor.
Please Note: these videos are not postnatal focused - after labor, consult with your health care professional on when you can begin physical activity again safely. When your body is ready, these pregnancy-related videos may be a nice gentle way to re-introduce movement compared to my other yoga videos.
I will continue to upload new videos focused on stretches, general movement, prenatal yoga, and pregnancy-specific meditations.
