In short, I can provide a safe space for you to feel empowered during your pregnancy and hopefully support your mental/emotional balance during labor. There so many studies done based on the connection between yoga, pregnancy, and labor to learn more, view my research paper.
I’ve been a Yoga Alliance Certified instructor since completing my first 200hrs of training in 2015. Since then, I’ve consistently continued my yoga education, for a list of my qualifications, click here.

My goal is to assist you on your prenatal journey where we will focus on establishing a strong mind-body connection through movement-based meditation. I’d also like to help you access your mental sanctuary before you even need it, having this amazing tool in your back pocket to help process emotions and energy in a healthy way throughout pregnancy, labor, and parenthood.
Prenatal Yoga can support your body and well-being in the following ways:
• Improved circulation, strength, flexibility, and endurance
• Reduced discomfort (back, sciatica, shoulder aches, side body tightness, etc)
• Relieving levels of high stress and anxiety
• Preparation for labor (physically and mentally)
• Encourages overall body, mind, and spiritual awareness
All of these elements of yoga are extremely beneficial throughout this beautiful phase of pregnancy into your unique birth experience. There are endless books that discuss the benefits of Prenatal Yoga and how it correlates with prenatal wellness, positive labor experiences, and fetal health, along with scientific based research and consistent recommendations from doctors to this day.
For example, "In four studies on healthy pregnant women, significant improvement in pain and pleasure at delivery, duration of delivery, perceived stress levels during pregnancy, anxiety levels, depression, pregnancy-related experiences, quality of life, and interpersonal relationships were compared to those in the control group. In two studies on depressed pregnant women, one reported that depression, anxiety levels, anger levels, leg pain, and back pain significantly improved with yoga, while the other found no differences from the control group. In one study of high-risk pregnant women with morbidity factors such as obesity or advanced age, yoga resulted in significantly fewer cases of pregnancy-induced hypertension, gestational diabetes, and intrauterine growth restriction, as well as a decrease in perceived stress levels. In one study on pregnant women with pelvic pain, the median pain score was lower in the yoga group,” (PubMed).
